GNYP Liverpool is part of an exclusive network of international contemporary art venues run by the art collectors and gallerists based in Berlin Marta Gnyp and Giovanni Springmeier.
This dedicated Liverpool gallery is situated independently within 2 Blackburne Terrace, a luxury hotel in the heart of the Georgian Quarter of the city, which provides very bespoke services to its guests. GNYP Liverpool welcomes visitors to the gallery by appointment, and is additionally open by request to residents at the hotel.
Habib Farajabadi uses all sorts of tools to compose his acrylic paintings, things such as nails, wood stock, forks and hair brush, without ever dispensing the regular paint brush.
Gina Beavers (b. 1974; Greece) creates drawings, paintings and installations inspired by photos culled from the internet and social media and rendered in high acrylic relief.
Irvin Pascal’s paintings are made from different organic materials and paint, a combination that generates texture variations and lends the works a collage appearance.
